NEW YORK CITYSCAPES
The one constant in my photographic life has been my appreciation of New York City, notably the borough of Manhattan, the place of my birth, and the center of the Art universe. It serves as mentor and muse for me as for a multitude of others in past, present, and future lives. Always providing glimpses of things noticed [and not] by many others that also have their own passing visions, some of my images are quiet and devoid of human personality. They are just subjects of my momentary vision, captured for my perusal and now presented as an expression of my particular artistic nature. An adult lifetime project of my subjective views, these images serves as a visual diary of my connection to ‘The City’, along with so many others that been put aside for inclusion in a larger portfolio. Some of these images appear in LensWork #67 Extended, Bonus Portfolios.
